  • The aim of this programme is to produce graduates with the advanced knowledge, principles and skills in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in term of theoretical and practical foundation for designing, implementing and managing information technology solutions, and resources and also recognizing the impact of technology on individuals, organization and society.

    At The end of this programme, students are expected to:
    1) Demonstrate ICT knowledge and skills in line with the requirements of business practices.
    2) Practise acquired ICT technical skills professionally and ethically.
    3) Apply acquired ICT skills in solving problems and display creativity and innovation in providing solution.
    4) Demonstrate good communication, social interaction, and responsibility in bridging the digital partition within social environment.
    5) Participate in teams in solving organisational and business problems and to support management functions of business.
    6) Participate in lifelong learning, research, career advancement activities, and keep up-to-date with knowledge of emerging information and communication 
        technologies.
    7) Combine suitable business and entrepreneurial skills in ICT related projects.
    8) Demonstrate ethical ICT professionalism through positive attitudes and punctuality.
    9) Demonstrate leadership skills in fulfilling responsibilities within social environment.

  •  SPECIFIC ADMISSION REQUIREMENT



    Applicants for the Master's Programme under the UUM College of Arts and Sciences must possess.

    a) A Bachelor’s degree with Honours from University Utara Malaysia or any other institution of higher learning recognized by the University Senate with
        a CGPA at 
     least 2.75; or

    b) A Bachelor’s degree with Honours from Universiti Utara Malaysia or any other institution of higher learning recognized by the University Senate with a CGPA
        less 
     than 2.75 and relevant working experience; or

    c) Any other equivalent qualification recognized by the University Senate; and

    d) Fulfills the English Language requirement
